No sir, it does not.

Apparently since we have this crazy coil-on-plug setup (something I dont truly understand) then we can't use stuff like LiveWires, made for traditional engines.

There is the Nology ignition kit or something, I have no idea what it does but it fits the Duratec.

Coil-on-plug isn't hard to understand.  On a Zetec, normally, you have one coil pack, and the ECU tells it to fire which cylinder.  The coil pack fires, goes down the sparkplug wire, and to the spark plug.

With coil-on-plug, there are 4 coil packs, each contoling a sparkplug.  The ECU then tells which coil pack to fire, and the energy goes straight to the plug, with no need to go down a plug wire.

Its the better setup.

Hmm, well that definitely sounds more efficient... I'd heard that coil-on-plug is preferable, just wasn't sure exactly why.

no plug wires = no resistance and more even electrical flow to each plug.

Other than the Nology one, is there something else out there like the Screamin Demon Coil Pack for the Duratec Engine's? Thanks Egz and Dan for the info. Greatly Appreciated.

I don't think there is anything "similar" to the SD, basically because the setup that is stock on the Duratec is pretty damn good, so there's not a better system to upgrade it to. That's the impression I get from this whole coil-on-plug situation- if it ain't broke, don't fix it. There are more significant things to deal with before worrying about this aspect I guess.
