If that picture is of the delet kit, why would you need pro installation. Also, why would you want to delete the balance shaft? Isnt it there to off set vibrations and such from the crank shaft? It would seem to me that though you may be able to get away with deleting it, the fact it is providing counter balance to the crank shaft would suggest to me that it may be needed, if for no other reason than to cut down on excessive vibrations in the motor that could be pretty dang detrimental at higher RPM's, particularly if the vibrations hit a resonant frequency.
The Grand Prixs have them and I would have to have a DANG straight and balanced crank shaft before I pulled my balance shaft.

It whines a lot, but I like it
The balance shafts are only to balance out the secondary harmonics that are felt in the passenger compartment; they do not balance out the engine. Its just to make the car feel smoother. The Ranger with the 2.3l Duratec doesn't have balance shafts, and runs just fine.
Removing them frees up a little hp and torque, allows the engine to rev freer, and removes 18 pounds of weight, 6 of which are rotating.
Pro installation isn't needed. Drain the oil, drop the pain, 4 bolts hold in the massive BS assembly, install the plug, install the oil pan, add oil, and you are done.
You make one with silicone. I used Permatex grey. The bottle says its designed for imports (thats how I remember it being the right one).
Clean the block and the pan, and put a small bead all around the pan. I then use my finger and smooth it out before reinstalling the pan. You have 10 minutes to the pan torqued down after squeezing it out.
