question, im getting ready to put on a k&n intake and a flowmaster exhaust. Do i have to do anything to my stock ecu chip? or will it be able to handle both mods?

It will be fine.

The only recomendation is to unplug the battery for about 15 minutes so that when you turn the car on it can re-learn how to run with the new parts on. The ECU is adaptive so it is able to recalibrate over time. Unpluging the battery speeds this operation up a bit.
