so,
i know there's a recall on 00-02 models
for the door handles.

i have an '03 SVT,
and my doors stick like CRAZY.
passengers are always yelling at me
that the door's still locked.
is there any chance that '03 SVT's
were built using '02 parts?

I never heard of the recall....

I do know many foci suffer from outer handles not working. I hope the 03 is in it. Chelly's 03 ZX3 drivers side has an issue. I sometimes have to pull fully on the handle twice before it opens.

it was only for the rear doors of ZX5's, Sedans, and Wagons, all other door issues as far as I know don't have a Recall out on them.

Aduse.... I mean use the warranty if you have it...

And now seeing Joe's post I rememder the recall. It is for the rear door latches not even the handles.

Warranty if you've got it...use it!

I tell this to everyone...You're paying a lot of money on something that depreciates everytime you touch it.  get what you can while the gettin's good!

I have the same problem with my 2003 driver's side door, passenger side door and the hatch.

aren't the handles just the mechanisms
for operating the latches?

what i mean is,
if my latch is shot,
would it not stand to reason
that i'd have difficulties with the handles.
