Hello and welcome!

Just have a look around in the Duratec threads...Egz - RU out there?

I'm sure there will be loads of things to do to the new '05s and keep an eye out for mods that the "First Gen" Foci has for it...some will match.

Keep posting and let's see some pics of your new ride!

Thanks for makin me feel welcome unfortunately I think it may be awhile (i hope not though) before manufacturers come out with the performance parts for my car and it is very hard to fit "First Gen" parts on this model because alot of the engine components have been moved and compacted to fit into the smaller front end.  Hopefully I am just bein negative and they start producin them QUICK! I am always open for suggestions interior and exterior. New tires and rims comin in Spring no use runnin them in this crappy Indiana weather.

look in the PZEV forum on our site, there are several parts makers that have aftermarket performance parts for the Duratec engines.  Intakes, exhausts, and many more items.  Go forth and rev up the engine :)

Welcome to TF. I agree that the interior is not the greatest design. I like the outside design, but would have loved it if Ford made available the HID headlighting system that they had for the MACH HID's.
