I am loving it. I have three friends that have ZX3's. 2 with the ZeTech, and the other friend somehow managed to score a ZX3 with the Duratech 2.3 (Excuse my ignorance if that is not all that uncommon.)
The hardest part about having now? I already have the list of what I am doing, but the list of money I have is quite a bit shorter...that is how it goes I guess.
The first thing I am going to do is pull out the restrictor in the stock intake, because aparantly that does some nifty things to the hp. (Not much, more of a "tide-me-over" until I can afford the K&N I have been eyeing, unless one of you all has a better idea for a good intake.)
Anyway, just wanted to say hello. I will probably be here a lot, as I am addicted to this new Focus of mine.
Late,
~Chalz (Oh, sorry for the grainy crappy pic...it's all I have, for now.)
Hey Chalz! Welcome to the board! Many congratulations on your car purchase too - it's so much fun to have a new car!
Where you from? As previously asked, and what are you looking for your car to "do" so far as performance etc? There is a ton of stuff out there! Some good, some junk. Just be careful which you chose. We'll help you
Are your friends who own Foci here in TeamFocus? If not, send them our way! We love having new people here.
Thanks for stopping in and POST OFTEN!

I am actually out in San Diego, CA. I am not really sure if anyone I know is on this site, but I will ask them. I found this site by accident.
I am really interested in road courses and rally racing. I want to have a car that I can roll up on those ugly POS Civics with the Folgers can exhausts and smoke them. (Which the stock Duratech already does...) but something I can also take out to a windy mountain road and blast through it, tailing a Porsche.
My goal before the warranty runs out is to have it up to 170-180 hp without voiding anything. Once the warranty is up I am hoping for beyond 250 hp. (No NoZ though, I want to keep it (almost) street legal.) I think it is more than possible to do, especially with the help of some of my friends. (On of which got a '91 CRX to 290 hp on the stock 1.6 engine...they called the car "The Hockey Puck")
ANyway, I should be around often, thank you for the kind welcomes.
