Hello all,

I have been reading the fourms for the last few months and thought i would say hi. Here are some pics of my 05 focus that I just bought you can even see my wifes focus aswell. lol.

I have a question about where I can get a cold air intake for the 05 focus. im looking around but I really havent found a site that says its for the 05.

Ill have the new audio pics and specs in a week or so that will make audiojunkie proud (bty your avatar is scary). let me know what you think.
And is there any people here from indiana?

thanks

Looks nice!

My suggestion is to check out our Duratec threads.  EGZ our resident Duratec guru has loads of information about these engines.

I have a 2003 ZX3 that has the 2.3 PZEV Duratec.  I believe yours is the 2.0 Duratec by what I can see.  Please correct me if I'm wrong.

Yup, 2005 non-ST is automatically a D20 engine.

Welcome, nice to have ya here.

Have you seen Egz's site? http://www.members.cox.net/duratecparts

Under intakes you'll see a nice little "compatibility" chart, I can't think of any 03-04 intakes that won't fit the 2005, so you've got several options.

It is like a backwards Zetec, only it's a frontwards Duratec! A real one, not the Duratec-badged Zetec the RS came with (I still don't know why they did that)

Makes sense though, intake on the front (breathe in) and exhaust/header out the back (breathe out)!

the only reason i heard for ford using the zetec engine in the rs was that they didnt have enough development time on the duratec makes sense to me though why they used the zetec as the zetec responds well to a turbo conversion

Welcome aboard!
Nice car.
I was in Indianapolis last week. I think you went by a black Benz S500 somewhere around the Westin downtown.
