Just thought I would say Howdy all. Got my first Focus last week. 04 Infra Red ZTS. Really like the car especially wit the 2.3 engine. Can't wait to start moddin it and I'm sure wit all the useful insight and help this forum can and will provide I'll never have a lack of idea's !!!
It's north of Chicago. Practically sit's on top of it. Used to live in towns like Round Lake, Lake Zurich, Glenview to name a few....all north/northwest suburbs. Still have most of my relatives living in Illinois.
Sorry for the late welcome. Yeah, another cali person. The funny thing is tho is that i used to live in S.J. even went to SJHS. LOL!!! I am now in Orange County. I miss the slower life. Welcome again and enjoy your new focus.
My kid goes to SJHS now !!! I actually bought this car for him as he turns 16 in Jan. I'm really surprised how this 2.3 rides and drives. Mucho impressed. I think I may drive it a bit longer and wait for the 2nd year of the new Mustang. Still gonna trick this one out tho. I debadged it already and get my tint in 2 days. Next month is a CAI and a Magnaflow cat. Then we tackle suspension. By the time the kid get's the car it oughta be pretty cool.

Oh by the way I'm also in the car business. I'm a Sales Manager for a Honda-Mazda-VW store. If anyone has any questions or needs pricing on stuff just let me know. I'll see what I can do to help. Just don't ask me about things like Tribute handles and stuff like that. Our parts dept isn't very helpful but I will try and help anyone I can. I've been in the business 23 years...20 years as a manager. I also have Finance exp for those type of questions also.
