Hello,  After much research and angst, I bought a 2007 ZX5 SE with the moon and sun roof,  ABS, leather wrapped wheel and I just love it.  I have loved the Focus ever since I rented one to drive to Joshua Tree a couple of years ago...it was comfortable and had  a lot of power and was easy to handle...so after months of research I just went  with my gut instinct and bought through the AAA buying service which was no hassle...when I saw the metallic kiwi green focus with the sun roof I was immediately drawn to it and didn't really look at any other focus cars.

I bought it and love it...I love driving it over the Vincent Thomas bridge in San Pedro and up into Palos Verdes to take my dogs hiking.  The air conditioning is great. At my next paycheck I am going to get a front cover for it.. I wanted to order a colored one but those are very expensive!!  Then I am going to get custom car seat covers............

I'm so glad I found this site and I plan to learn as much about the Focus as  I can!!!

Thanks so much!!   I drove my Focus on the freeway today and it gets much better mileage on the freeway and the open highways than around town..............it has plenty of room for my dogs

;wel Kylie!  happy to have another lady in TeamFocus!!!

I'm sure you're going to love you car - and i have had 2 big dogs since I've owned a focus and they're right at home!

So, where are you located?  You mentioned Freeway - I was just in LA this past week for business - what a mess - I had to drive a POS PT cruiser - what a waste (I'll be doing a review on this car in the other forums).

Post often and let's see some pics of your car and your k-9's!

My dog's name is Mack

Hi! I am in Long Beach!  I just got a seat cover for the back seat but realized I will have to order a specialized one due to the 60/40 split and the seat belts....but it is padded so the dogs don't dig into the upholstory...

Your dog is beautiful........I came close to buying a Hundai Tuscon - I loved it but it just stretched the budget too much and really there was no more room in there for the dogs than in the Focus..................
I will take a picture of my car, scan it and then post it within a week or two...........It is such a relief to have air conditioning after 4 years!!
You mentioned the PT cruiser...the Hyundai dealer tried to sell me a used one when he realized I was not going to buy the Tuscon...........I don't like the looks of them...
The Focus is comfortable and easy to drive and the dealer is nearby and honestly, I would like to save as many union jobs as possible, hence the Focus...my last car was also a Ford....................:)
