I got these last summer at Costco for the lowest price I could find. They, (through Costco) came with a lifetime road hazard warantee, lifetime free rotation, & lifetime balancing. It was a very hard deal to pass up.
They have slightly stiffer sidewalls that the original equipment, & consequently ride just a bit stiffer. They're also a tad noisier that the Firehawks. But that's where the downside ends. These things are really sticky. There was an immediate and dramatic difference in traction, both on corners and off the line. They're not quite as good in the rain. Still better than the Firestones, but not wonderful. If they're pushed really hard in the wet, they get a little squirmy, although they do give you fair warning. I'd been waiting for snow to post this, since the BFG's were reputed to be very good in the snow. They are. The week before Christmas, we got 26" of snow. The tires are very, very good in the snow for what they are...an all season tire. They definitely won't perform like Blizzaks or any other dedicated snow tire.
I've had them rotated a couple of times. No problems there. They're smooth, squeal free, and seem to be wearing very well.
