I have been working on taking the on-line store in a new direction which has taken some time to get done. While I still have more work to do, its taking shape now and you can get an idea of how everything is going to look and work. You can only get to it right now from the link below as I dont have it linked yet to the main site.
The site and the store has gotten such good remarks already and other dealers are wanting me to set up sites for them. If you visit Amsoil dealer websites you'll quickly see I went in an entirely different direction than about 90% of them out there. That was by design and desire. I really wanted my identity to be focused first on the business SyntheticShield since I do more than just sell Amsoil, though it is the center piece to my business, then let people discover the Amsoil products along with the other services.
So anyway, take a peek and let me know what you think. I still have a bit more to do. You can add to the cart, send me money via paypal, but I still place the order. Not only is this necessary to conform to the Amsoil policies but it also allows me a chance to review the order and make sure that nothing is out of whack such as a customer purchasing something other than what they intended. Another thing I had to do in order to conform to the polices is list all the products as "Call for price". According to the Amsoil policies you cannot list the price of thier products on your website. Seems absurb to me, but thats how it is.
You will also see, one of the main features, Oil change kits. I went this way in order to help the customer and save them the trouble of having to search for everything they need for their vehicle. I did all the leg work, put together a package and priced it. I'll be adding more kits as time goes on as well as the ability to add other things like mobile lube services and maintenance services.
