Even though there is still some season left, I figured I'd get this thread started (cause my season is done and I have a little extra time).

Those of you that have raced this year, tell us about your season. Any racing**, and it doesn't have to be just in a Focus.
Please keep in on topic.

**Street racing does NOT count as racing!! Any organized racing events including, but not limited to; autocrossing, road racing, time trials (like EMRA and NASA do), hillclimbs, circle tracks, drags, hell even show & shines.

Ok, since I started it, I'll get my season up 1st:

April 22 - 23:
The season started with me crewing/instructing at the driver's school at NHIS where Dan used my car. Two days on the track only caused one dent on the right door thanks to a couple of zealous Spec Miatas. Dan got signed off and was given his Novice Permit.

May 13 - 14:
My planned trip to VIR race was cancelled. Had other things going on. I'm panning on this being a race trip next year.

July 1 - 2:
I made my 2nd trip to Mid Ohio for a double regional. The last time was in 2004. This is where I 1st tried the Toyo tires. Didn't like them. Still managed to have fun. Finished 10th on Sat and 11th on Sun.

July 8 - 9:
I was at NHIS for the Pig Roast Dbl. Finished 18th both days.

Sept 9 - 10:
Back to NHIS for the Cheap Date Dbl. Finished 18th on Sat & 17th on Sun.

Sept 22 - 23:
This trip wasn't planned until a month before. I would be bringing the racecar, but I wouldn't be racing it. I would be co-racing someone else's racecar in my 1st 3hr enduro. I was nervous because I didn't know if I could race a whole hour. I was in the car for the 2nd hour. 45 min into the hour I was hoping they'd let me finish the final hour too. Had a great time!! We finished 41st over-all (out of 72) and 5th in class.
My car went down to be raced by Dan. This gave him a finished race on his novice permit. 3rd gear wasn't working so he just rode around and completed the race and finished a lap down, 11th in class.

It's strange, I haven't been to any autocrosses this year. There are 1 or 2 I know of, but I don't think I'll have time to go. I'll be going to the NARRC runoffs at Lime Rock Oct 21, but just to hang out, watch, and maybe take a bunch of pictures.

There are more details on my web site, http://www.wizardracing.net.
