Sorry I was away for a few days visiting family in Aroostook County..

My Performance Modifications are:
Borla Catback Exhaust
AEM cai
Fidanza Short Throw shifter
As far as tires and wheels go..
1956015 BFG Traction T/A's with stock foci 15's.. havent bought wheels yet..
So any idea what class I would be in?  I do have 2 dot/snell approved helmets, so thats a plus.

All other mods I have are purely cosmetic.

you also would be in STS.  CAI and short throw are both STS items.  as long as none of the other "cosmetics" are carbon fiber.  Carbon fiber go straight to SM.

other cosmetics are ford racing tail lights, and projector headlights, vinyls (which I'd love to remove).

nope, those are fine, unless you've replaced parts with carbon fiber, you are fine, STS is where you will be.

My new shorty antenna has some carbon fiber.

that's not a problem.

I don't believe that makes a difference.

It's primarily body pieces, hoods, trunk lids, bumpers etc.

I don't know...shorter antena....lighter weight...may have to move to SM...all depends on how good a driver you are...

he's not in our class either way :)

I don't think antenna's are an issue, I know some people run without an antenna altogether, they don't want it flopping around or whatever.

If antennas were an issue, it would be time for CMC to look for something better to do with their time...it's like me debadging my Focus someone can realistically complain about that...:?

yeah realistically they could complain, alot of that comes from people debadging and calling the car something it isn't for example, if you debadged and then tried to pass your car off as a standard ZX3, that would be HS instead of GS and you'd have a distinct advantage.

it would only bother me if you did what I said, but I have no problem with you debadging and running in the class you belong in which is GS.

This had to do with Honda Civic's and whether or not they sighed or not.

I dunno, I debadged mine, and got a shorter antenna.  That must ahve saved at least 6oz.  Those kind of mods add at least 15hp on a stock civic.:driv

we can joke all we want on honda's but come race day, those cars are damn tough on the course.  They don't have much torque but they only weigh about 2100lbs or so.  That's about 500-600lbs less than my portly sedan.

I'm not sure if someone is driving the 'Lude this year or not.

But I do know that there are plenty of GSR's, and Si's (both of the hatch and CRX variety).  For little bux they can be made into mean little beestingin' autocross cars.  Course people laugh at you when you drive them on the street :)
