Okay, awful question, but how do I get the smell of vomit off of my
stairs? My daughter got sick in the middle of the night and instead of
heading to the bathroom she stood at the bottom of the stairs (my
bedroom is up hers is downstairs) and threw up.
I have scrubbed but I just can't get it out. Any suggestions?

other than get new carpet? I would try some heavy duty carpet cleaner. You may have to go to a store that sells steam cleaners or vacuum cleaners.
I was dating a guy for three weeks and while we were on the way back to my house he ended up puking all over his car (yeah that was really gross) but I had some stuff in my car to clean up dog puke (the dog got car sick EVERYTIME he was in the car which was almost every day) but I don't remember the name of the stuff that I had. Maybe use resolve with some febreeze or oxyclean or something. I would try the vacuum cleaner store first though. They may have a better solution.
sorry I should have clarified it's not on carpet it is painted
hardwood. That's why I thought it would come out a little bit
easier, but I think some might have gotten in between the cracks.
