I have heard of the underwear before, I would be kinda sketched out to buy panties out of a machine on the sidewalk, but hey whatever!
I remember when we used to have cigarette vending machines! Thye started disappearing while I was sitll pretty young, but there's a pizza parlor down the road from my house, that has a sit-in portion. And over in the corner there's a little glass "cabinet" on legs with two rows and all these pull-knobs, used to be able to buy ciggies from it! I remember going there when I was maybe 6 or 7, and always going over to it while we waited for pizza. I always forget it wasn't candy and got disappointed!
Speaking of vending machines, I was at a Motel 6 or Super 8 once (some skeevy numbered motel) and of course I'd forgotten my shampoo, and it was cheap enough that they didn't have little "hotel shampoos", so I went to check a vending machine I'd seen, on a whim. They had tiny shampoo bottles... right next to the "Condoms" (No name, just said condoms)! Real high class place, that was
