MY PROBLEM IS THAT MY BULB IN BOTH HEADLIGHTS ARE BURNING OUT DUE TO THE "REFLECTOR" MELTING ONTO THE TOP OF THE BULB CAUSING IT TO BURN OUT, BOTH SIDES ARE DOING THIS. I'M USING THE SILVERSTAR BULBS WITH THE STOCK 55/LOWBEAM, 60/HIGHBEAM BULBS. THIS IS THE FIRST CAR THAT I'VE OWNED THAT THIS HAS BEEN HAPPENING TO. I'VE BEEN SERIOUSLY CONSIDERING OPTING FOR THE DUAL PROJECTOR  DIRECTFIT HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLIES TO CORRECT THIS PROBLEM. AM I THE ONLY ONE THIS HAS BEEN HAPPENING TO? ANY SUGGESTIONS OR SOLUTIONS WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED.

I personally have never heard of this happening except when using knock-off (cheap) bulbs. Obviously they are getting too hot, why I don't know. For now your best bet would be too switch back to OEM bulbs, at least until you can afford a projector swap.

I have no clue also.

Are they actual silver stars? or knock offs?

You could also try a lower wattage silver stars.

I haven't heard of actual silver stars doing this to the Focus.

maybe the plastic got melted at one point by somthing realy hot and the melting point of the housing is lower than it would normaly be... I have no clue, just thinking out loud.

I'd check the wattage on those. Bulbs with 60/80 and even 75/100 re sometimes available. These aren't legal for road use. If you have anything more than 55/60, that might be the cause.
