theres a group buy, and from the sounds of it the guy heading it up worked for/works for turbo tom, and has a group buy on HID complete kits going on focus fanatics.  i have been talking to him over the past few days to find out more, and i know a lot of people out there dont want to spend the 600+ for a new set of stocker HIDs from ford.  this gives you the opportunity to set HIDs in your stock housings, or projectors.

kit includes

2 UV-Crystal cut HID bulbs (rated at 2500-3000 hrs of running time)
2 Ballasts/Ignitors (water resistant)
14 AWG wire harness
Mounting Hardware
1 Year Warranty

All temp. ratings available:

3000K (Dichoric Yellow) GT Yellow $310
4000K OEM Bright white/yellow $250
5000K Bright white $265
6000K Blue/Pruple $265
8000K Crystal blue $275
10000K Deep blue $285
12000K Deep purple $285

Prices include shipping and we need at least 10 people for the prices. Individual pricing on the kits starts at $300 plus shipping.

there are pics if you go to the website http://www.hidvisualcreations.com or scroll down on the post he made will show all of the kits

i know some of you dont rad the other forum and i usually dont, but i figured id extend the offer to those who didnt know.

My only concern would be is how legal would this be and would you pass inspection?

i think the only question you would get for inspection time is if you had stock housings maybe..depends what state, who you know and whatnot, like everything else.

that was my only other question as well was the lifetime, but most HIDs have a lifetime of..a cars lifetime for the most part.  rarely do you have to replace them..
