How To Instar Corner Lights.

You can go from this.

To this.

Tools needed.

Blanket or tarp to lay on.

13mm wrench or 13mm nut driver or 13mm deep socket.

Optional. Floor jack and stands or car ramps.

It really is a easy install. If you have problems getting to the 2 nuts I suggest you get the car up in the air a bit. Disconnect the socket holding the bulb by twisting counter clockwise. Then pull out straight. Remove the two nuts by rotating counter clockwise. Then push the unit out gently. You might want to clean the area of built up gunk and wax before reinstalling by reversing the above procedure.

That's it! Doesn't it look better?

For PZEV Duratec only.  this extra step:

you have to remove the cover for the airbox in order to get at the driver's side marker.  there are four bolts holding it on.  i recommend you start with the two in the wheel well.

Next the bolt just behind the front bumper were the intake is on the lower front grille.  I needed a pretty long ratchet extender (5" or so) to get at this one.

The last bolt is on the side of the box that faces the engine.

Now the cover is free, wiggle it around a bit to get it off.

unless your hands are a lot bigger than mine you should be just barely able to get a wrench past the exposed airbox and get at the side marker.

when you're done with the side marker, reverse the process to get it back on.
